If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Ramp is hiring an Associate Manager to lead the frontline of our CX team — the agents who serve as the voice of Ramp for thousands of customers every day. This is a phone-first leadership role, with primary responsibility for our live phone support, while also ensuring consistent standards across secondary channels like chat and email. As a leader, you’ll set the tone for performance and culture: developing people, reinforcing standards, and ensuring our high bar for speed, accuracy, and empathy is consistently met.
We’re a fast-moving, high-growth team where change is constant. Associate Managers at Ramp thrive in this environment by balancing support with accountability — coaching agents to grow, holding the line on results, and creating stability even as processes, tools, and products evolve. We function in a highly collaborative environment: leaders and agents alike share ideas, iterate quickly, and give and receive feedback across levels and teams. Success in this role requires intentional execution and adaptability to thrive in a culture where the best idea wins, where projects are built together, and where iteration is expected as part of the process.
This is a role for leaders who combine operational discipline with creativity. You’ll use data analysis, projects, and AI-driven workflows to help your team work smarter, while staying close enough to the ground to spot opportunities for improvement. Leadership here means more than managing schedules — it’s about shaping how your team performs, adapts, and thrives.
If you love developing people, driving accountability, and bringing clarity and focus to dynamic environments, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and coach your team. Run 1:1s, deliver feedback that drives real improvement, and hold agents accountable while helping them grow. Know your people well enough to make coaching specific and actionable.
- Drive performance and consistency. Keep the team focused on the metrics that matter — CSAT, QA, SLA, productivity — by reinforcing playbooks and addressing gaps quickly before they compound.
- Own quality assurance. Grade cases, run QA sessions, and identify the knowledge or behavior gaps that are actually moving the needle on performance.
- Work with AI tools daily. Ramp is actively building AI into CX operations. You'll adopt and champion new AI-powered workflows, give feedback on what's working, help your team get up to speed, and be instrumental in shaping how these tools evolve. Comfort with new technology isn't optional — we are all builders at Ramp.
- Use data to drive decisions. Review performance trends and customer feedback to translate insights into coaching actions and process changes — not just reports.
- Lead your team through change. Ensure adoption of new tools, workflows, and processes with clarity and steady leadership. Your team looks to you to make change feel manageable.
- Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with CX Ops, Product, and Engineering to surface issues, pilot improvements, and strengthen both the agent and customer experience.
Stay connected to the work. Handle escalations and occasionally take calls and tickets to stay close to frontline realities.
What You Need
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical support role
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Proven ability to deliver coaching that drives individual and team growth
- Strong written and verbal communication — you can explain a complex issue clearly at any level
- Comfort leading teams through fast-paced change and adopting new tools, including AI
- Experience using AI tools to improve support workflows — research, drafting, process automation
- Ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping things
What would make you stand out
- You've built something — an AI-powered workflow, a custom tool, an automation that your team actually uses. Not "I used AI to analyze data" but "I identified a gap, figured out how to close it, and shipped it."
- You've partnered with a product or engineering team to bring a CX tool to life, and you can speak to the tradeoffs you made along the way
- Background in FinTech or financial services
- Experience in a high-growth or startup environment where the product changed faster than the playbook
- You can hold a technical conversation about how systems connect (APIs, bank integrations, accounting software) even if you're not writing code.
For candidates located in NYC or SF, the pay range for this role is $108,000 - $132,000. For candidates located in all other locations, the pay range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Ramp is in a critical phase of growth, and this role is responsible for building and scaling one of our highest-leverage acquisition channels: direct mail. You'll work closely with an experienced growth marketing team, with creative, analytical, and technical resources to deliver on ambitious growth goals.
This is a highly hands-on role where you'll drive key initiatives – from designing personalized campaigns and operationalizing vendors to building experimentation frameworks and measuring performance. You'll leverage automation tools to rapidly prototype campaigns, test what works, and scale what converts, partnering cross-functionally to turn experimental ideas into repeatable playbooks.
Your work will span campaign design, vendor management, targeting strategy, creative personalization, measurement, and the operational infrastructure needed to run direct mail automation at scale. This is a key role where you'll have a direct impact on building some of Ramp's fastest-growing channels.
What You'll Do
- Drive direct mail initiatives: Lead campaign execution from ideation through measurement, managing audience targeting and segmentation, platform setup, creative production, vendor coordination, and post-campaign performance tracking.
- Build experimentation frameworks and drive optimization: Design tests for messaging, creative assets, targeting strategies, and campaign tactics. Use data to identify what works, refine approaches, and scale successful experiments into repeatable playbooks.
- Find leverage through creative personalization: Identify opportunities where thoughtful, well-researched personalization can meaningfully outperform generic outreach, using automation tools to operationalize at scale. Recommend and test unconventional tactics that deliver higher impact for lower cost.
- Manage vendor relationships and operational workflows: Own external partnerships with direct mail platforms, fulfillment vendors, and data providers. Ensure quality execution, optimize processes, and maintain high standards across all campaigns.
- Track performance and inform strategy: Monitor campaign metrics, identify trends, and surface insights that inform targeting, creative, and channel decisions. Work with the team to continuously improve results.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with creative, product, data science, and sales teams to execute acquisition campaigns. Ensure smooth coordination across internal teams and external vendors to deliver campaigns, with a high degree of autonomy and attention to detail to ensure quality execution and continuous process improvement.
What You Need
- Experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing, with a track record of executing end-to-end campaigns and experimental marketing programs. You’ve owned projects from ideation through measurement, including vendor management, creative coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong operational and analytical skills: You're comfortable working with data to track performance, identify trends, and optimize campaigns. Bonus points for experience with automation tools like Clay, Zapier, or similar platforms.
- Builder mentality with high ownership: You're excited to work on ambiguous projects, move quickly, and drive initiatives from idea to execution without waiting to be told what to do.
- Team-first mentality and effective communication: You work well across teams (sales, creative, ops, data) and can balance speed with quality while managing multiple stakeholders.
- Customer obsession: You're passionate about deeply understanding our product and customers' needs to generate meaningful campaigns that reach the right audience at the right time with the right message.
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience working in a B2B SaaS or fintech growth team.
- Prior experience with direct mail platforms or offline acquisition channels.
- Familiarity with GTM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.
- Comfort working with structured and unstructured data – cleaning, transforming, and piping it into useful workflows.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Over the past few years at Ramp, we've reimagined how businesses manage spend, and the backbone of that vision is Procure-to-Pay. The P2P team builds the systems that connect vendors, invoices, and payments into one seamless, automated flow. It's where billions of dollars move through our platform, and every line of code matters.
We're looking for a backend engineer who loves complex systems, obsesses over correctness, and wants to shape how money moves in modern finance software. You'll help design and scale the infrastructure that powers our payment rails, ensures auditability across products, and unlocks the next wave of AI-driven automation.
It's a chance to work on systems that actually move money, with a team that cares deeply about precision, reliability, and scale. The problems are tough, the stakes are high, and the impact is massive.
What You'll Do
- Design and build core P2P systems, from invoice ingestion and approval workflows to payment orchestration and reconciliation logic.
- Enable AI agents to classify, validate, and process invoices automatically, reducing manual review and accelerating financial close.
- Own backend services that process large volumes of financial events across Bill Pay, Procurement, and Treasury.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Data to translate accounting and compliance policies into robust, testable code.
- Extend Ramp’s financial ledger to handle new transaction types, international payments, and automated audit trails.
- Drive technical excellence around reliability, observability, and data integrity in systems where correctness directly impacts financial reporting.
- Continuously improve developer tooling and internal APIs that make P2P data accessible across Ramp’s product ecosystem.
What You Need
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or transactional systems.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining data-intensive distributed systems with strong consistency and auditability requirements.
- Deep knowledge of Python (or a comparable backend language) and SQL.
- Comfort building event-driven systems and scaling high-volume, low-latency architectures.
- Strong system design and debugging skills; you care about correctness as much as speed.
- Ability to work closely with finance, risk, and product stakeholders to translate business rules into software logic.
- Passion for building systems that are precise, reliable, and extensible as Ramp scales globally.
Nice to Have
- Experience with accounts payable, payments, or reconciliation systems.
- Familiarity with accounting or ERP integrations (e.g. NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle).
- Background in compliance-heavy or regulated domains.
- Exposure to AI-driven automation or interest in working with AI/ML teams to build intelligent finance workflows.
- Desire to move quickly while maintaining an uncompromising standard for data accuracy and auditability.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
As a Design Engineer at Ramp, you sit at the intersection of design and front-end engineering. You bring ambitious ideas to life in real interfaces, prototype directly in code, validate with customers, and ship production experiences with a high bar for craft, performance, and reliability.
Design at Ramp is AI first and builder led. Work starts in an LLM to clarify intent and constraints, moves into tools like Claude and Cursor to explore and build, is tested with real customers, and then comes into Figma for systems and polish. AI and self-serve research are default parts of the workflow, not side experiments.
We are looking for multiple design engineers who think like a designer, code like a front-end engineer, and treat AI as a real collaborator.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build high-craft product experiences: Own key surfaces end to end, from concept through production. Use layout, interaction, and motion to make complex behavior feel simple and safe.
- Work AI first with Cursor and Claude Code: Use LLMs, Cursor, and Claude Code as your starting point. Draft intent, explore implementations, scaffold components, and refactor with AI in the loop. Apply your own judgment to refine quality.
- Prototype in code and validate with customers: Build interactive prototypes in React and TypeScript and test them with real users using self-serve research tools. Use what you learn to refine flows before full systemization.
- Bridge design systems, product, and brand: Translate Ramp’s design principles into reusable components and patterns. Extend the design system so expressive, brand-aligned moments are easy to build and scale.
- Reveal what our agents are doing without noise: Design patterns that show what AI and automation are doing on behalf of customers. Use hierarchy, copy, and motion to earn trust while keeping the default experience simple.
- Champion performance and accessibility: Ship work that is fast, accessible, and robust. Pay attention to semantics, focus states, reduced motion, and Core Web Vitals. Partner with engineers to debug and optimize over time.
- Share AI-native workflows: Document prompts, patterns, and workflows you use in Cursor and Claude Code. Share them with designers and engineers to raise the bar across the team.
What You Need
- Strong experience across both design and front-end engineering, with ownership from idea to shipped interface
- Fluency in React, TypeScript or JavaScript, semantic HTML, and modern CSS
- Active use of tools like Cursor and Claude Code, with clear opinions on how to get high-quality output
- A portfolio that shows high visual and interaction craft in live experiences or working prototypes
- A systems mindset and interest in building reusable components and patterns
- Care for performance, accessibility, and reliability as part of craft
- Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort pairing with designers, engineers, and marketers
Nice to Haves
- Experience contributing to a design system or front-end component library
- Familiarity with experimentation or analytics tools
- Experience with headless CMS, design tokens, or theming systems
- Background in fintech, B2B SaaS, or other trust-heavy domains
- Interest in mentoring others on AI-native workflows
Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)
-
100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you

About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $100B in annualized spend flows in and out of 50,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Ramp is looking for an Integrations Expert to join our Customer Experience team, specializing in ERP and HRIS integrations. Ramp's ERP integrations are one of the core differentiated features of the platform, enabling finance teams to save time and money through seamless and automated coding and syncing of their financial information from Ramp to their core systems of record. As an Integrations Expert, you'll be the final escalation point for complex sync and configuration issues, owning high-sensitivity cases across platforms like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Xero, and Workday. This role is a hybrid of advanced technical troubleshooting, customer-facing support, and internal systems improvement.
As a Senior member of CX, you'll handle the most ambiguous and systemic failures, lead live debugging sessions with customers and cross-functional partners (Product, Operations, Engineering, Post-Sales), and shape the playbooks that define Ramp's integration support excellence, helping democratize this troubleshooting to a broader team.
You'll be stepping into a role with solid foundations but an evolving charter—you won't just run the playbook, you'll write it. Success in this role requires comfort with the unknown, a bias toward action, and a proven track record of building structure, relationships, and momentum from a blank slate.
What You’ll Do
- Support Excellence: Serve as the expert point of contact for ERP/HRIS integration escalations via chat, email, and live Zoom support.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Resolve 85–95% of escalated sync/configuration issues without engineering intervention.
- Systems Leadership: Scope platform gaps, propose architectural fixes, and advocate for system-level improvements in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams.
- Documentation Ownership: Lead documentation for edge cases and systemic issues—updating playbooks, error indexes, and Guru cards.
- Enablement & Mentorship: Run enablement sessions and mentor IC5 Integration Specialists across ERP workflows and tools.
- Roadmap Input: Identify recurring customer friction and platform constraints, contributing to product discovery and tool prioritization.
What You Need
- 4+ years of experience supporting ERP/HRIS integrations or working in B2B SaaS customer support/solutions roles
- Proven success resolving complex sync/config issues in at least one of the following ERPs: NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks (Online/Desktop), or Xero
- Proven ability to use customer insights and support data to influence product improvements—you don't just solve problems, you spot patterns, advocate for change, and help make the product better.
- Strong judgment under ambiguity with the ability to make decisions on the fly and coach others
- Comfortable with configuration consoles, admin panels, and cross-system troubleshooting
- Excellent written and verbal communication—able to explain system behavior to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfort with using support tooling (Zendesk, Salesforce, or equivalent) and working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams.
- Basic familiarity with APIs, file formats (e.g., CSV, JSON), and accounting software integrations.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a customer-first mindset.
- Willingness to lead customer-facing calls and drive action in cross-functional settings
Nice to Haves
- Experience using Zendesk (macros, triggers, custom objects)
- Familiarity with SQL or interpreting JSON/API payloads
- Background in FinTech, accounting, or HR software environments
- Prior enablement or technical training experience
What Success Looks Like
- Autonomously leads and resolves high-sensitivity ERP/HRIS escalations
- Trains and mentors peers through enablement sessions or doc ownership
- Shapes Ramp’s integration experience through platform insights and feedback loops
- Recognized as a system expert across 1–2 ERP platforms internally
