What you'll do

Build and operate a multi-surface platform with high standards for reliability, correctness, and developer experience.
Develop autonomous tooling and agents to accelerate endpoint creation for internal teams.
Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and monitoring of complex backend projects using Python, Temporal, and Postgres.
Harden and evolve the API infrastructure to ensure quality and sustainability for thousands of users.
Create programmatic surfaces that allow developers and AI agents to interact with financial infrastructure.
Drive the development of agent-first features and tools to improve developer experience across all platforms.

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of backend engineering experience.
Experience building APIs or developer-facing platforms.
Demonstrated hands-on, daily use of AI coding agents as the primary development driver.
Proficiency with agentic workflows, orchestration layers, and AI tooling.
Ability to lead complex backend projects using Python, Temporal, and Postgres.
Strong instinct for developer experience regarding documentation, error messages, and onboarding.
Proven ability to own technical and business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
