What you'll do

Define and maintain validation and characterization plans for MODEM SOC and associated peripherals.
Design and bring up SOC test platforms to support hardware development.
Develop and manage automated test benches for high-speed interfaces and other peripherals.
Perform system-level debugging in collaboration with design, architecture, and manufacturing teams.
Utilize FPGAs, emulators, and DV environments to ensure successful chip bring-up.
Validate and characterize embedded processors, PLLs, SRAM, DDR, and SERDES components.
Conduct power analysis and characterization for the MODEM SOC.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in Bring Up, Validation, and characterization of SOC or ASIC.
Familiarity with protocols such as I2C, SPI, I3C, and eMMC.
Experience using benchtop instruments including power supplies, DMMs, high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, and DAQs.
Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Embedded C.
Familiarity using Lauterbach or other JTAG-based debuggers to program and debug embedded processors.
Experience validating high-speed interfaces (SERDES, DDR) and performing power analysis/characterization.
