Technical Leader, Diagnostics Software

What you'll do

• Provide end-to-end ownership of the quality, coverage, and completeness of Diagnostics software solutions.
• Communicate project goals, strategies, risks, and requirements to stakeholders to create software test plans.
• Study new features and IPs in next-gen SoC products to train software engineers on diagnostic case development.
• Drive technical requirements to achieve feature coverage and hardware bug capture targets.
• Own the SoC system-level feature validation methodology, including multi-IP use cases and power/performance evaluations.
• Manage the Diagnostics pre-silicon emulation strategy across Simnow, FPGA, and Emulation models.
• Lead the resolution of critical technical challenges, including complex issue debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Improve feature coverage models, test time reduction, and development processes to drive innovation.

What we're looking for

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Significant firmware or software development experience with close interaction with hardware or product engineering teams (preferred).
• Excellent understanding of SoC architecture, including processors, system IO, memory, engine IP, and security blocks (preferred).
• Strong system-level debugging and testing skills with the capability to provide robust solutions (preferred).
• Strong Linux environment programming knowledge, including device drivers, user space programming, and shell scripts (preferred).
• Rich knowledge of x86 CPU architecture and programming skills, or strong discrete graphics software development (preferred).
• Experience with BIOS, GPU, PCIe, DDR, PMU, or RAS firmware development (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with SoC emulation and bring-up (preferred).
