As a Hardware Systems Engineer - Board Design within the Silicon Validation Hardware team, you will contribute to the development of next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient system-on-chip technology. What you'll do

Develop technical specifications based on requirements from cross-functional teams.
Perform schematic capture, circuit design, and define layout and routing constraints.
Design and implement test and characterization circuits in the lab.
Execute board bring-up, testing, characterization, and debugging of hardware systems.
Conduct power and signal integrity analysis for high-performance designs.
Design and characterize high-speed interfaces.
Develop FPGA and CPLD logic using Verilog or VHDL.
Debug complex system-level issues on test boards and production systems.

What we're looking for

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree program.
3 years of experience in the field.
Experience with schematic level board design and circuit design.
Strong fundamentals in EE concepts including transistor operation, signal integrity, transmission lines, and timing analysis.
RTL experience using Verilog or VHDL, preferably with FPGA design.
Proficiency with standard hardware lab equipment like scopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
Test automation expertise using Perl, Tcl, or Python.
Experience with board bring-up, testing, characterization, and debugging.
