As a CPU Emulation Engineer on the CPU verification team, you will deliver emulation-based solutions to verify and validate high performance CPUs. You will collaborate with RTL, performance, verification, and software teams to architect and develop test bench infrastructure using C/C++ and Systemverilog across various platforms. Your daily responsibilities include developing scalable verification methodologies, debugging emulation performance and area issues, and creating environments for OS boots, performance benchmarks, and other vectors. You will also manage the collection of environment metrics and resolve infrastructure issues with the CAD team. The role requires expertise in Palladium, Zebu, Veloce, or FPGAs, along with skills in Perl, Python, shell scripting, and C/C++ DPI transactors. Relevant domain knowledge includes RISC-V CPU designs, Linux boot processes, firmware aspects, and complex CPU micro-architecture.
