As an ASIC High Speed AMS Technical Leader within the Common Hardware Group, you will provide technical leadership for silicon photonics driver integrated circuits supporting 100G/200G/400G per Lambda solutions. You will own full-chip electrical specifications, mixed-signal design, and verification test plans from concept through production while coordinating across electrical, optical, and product teams. Your daily responsibilities include designing high-speed datapath and low-speed control circuits, including photonics modulator drivers, serializers, PLLs, TIAs, and control circuits optimized for power and performance. You will also debug complex silicon issues during bring-up and mentor engineers in analog, digital, and validation fields. Required expertise includes high-speed optical transceiver design, Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Caliber, SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS, and Python or C. This role addresses the challenge of developing advanced pluggable and Co-packaged Optics for next-generation data center architectures.
