Account Executive, Preqin, Vice President joins the Aladdin Client Business team to drive sales execution and demand within the East Coast market. This role focuses on managing the full sales cycle by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while growing existing account revenue through proactive, consultative support and expansion efforts. The successful candidate will build a pipeline of prospects, provide product demonstrations, and deliver detailed proposals to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include lead generation through localized events and navigating the renewal cycle to ensure high net revenue growth. Required competencies include experience in financial services or B2B SaaS sales, negotiation skills for upselling and cross-selling, and a working knowledge of the financial market data space and alternative assets. Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to securing new subscription agreements.
Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities within a defined East Coast territory.
Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders at prospective and existing firms.

What we're looking for
You must have at least 5 years of sales experience in new business or account management within financial services, alternative investments, or B2B SaaS.
You must have a demonstrable record of hitting quotas and meeting sales targets.
You must possess negotiation skills related to upsells, cross-selling, and new logo opportunities.
You must have working knowledge of the financial market data space, alternative assets, and financial services industries.
You must have strong interpersonal skills and professional acumen with excellent written and verbal communication.
You must possess analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You must have strong planning and organizational skills to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
