What you'll do

  • Lead the Functional Design Engineering & Strategy pod to translate high-level designs into detailed engineering specifications.
  • Define and curate a cross-CCOE reference pattern library including Terraform modules, reference architectures, and ADRs.
  • Embed agentic AI capabilities into engineering practices and self-service platforms for internal customers.
  • Hands-on contribution to reference patterns, Terraform modules, and proof-of-concept builds in high-ambiguity areas.
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain a globally distributed team of senior cloud engineers across the US and India GCC.

What we're looking for

  • Over 10 years of technical experience with at least 5 in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering leadership.
  • Extensive hands-on AWS production experience, authoring Terraform modules for a multi-account landing zone.
  • Proven track record managing and developing engineering teams through hiring, performance management, and career development.
  • Experience leading and participating in 24x7 on-call rotations in a regulated environment.
  • Expertise translating enterprise architecture into detailed, build-ready engineering designs using the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
