What you'll do

Identify opportunities to replace or upgrade server components and manage hardware throughout its lifecycle.
Mentor less experienced technicians on best practices for power distribution units and hardware troubleshooting.
Validate cabling, network environment builds, and connectivity to ensure devices are error-free.
Manage and assign work within a ticketing system while resolving issues according to Service Level Agreements.
Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Maintenance Operation Protocols (MOPs) for data center change control.
Act as a technical liaison to identify and resolve risks related to resiliency, reliability, and availability.
Coordinate with project teams and vendors to test and validate electrical and mechanical systems.
Analyze trends and recurring problems to develop improved processes and documentation for the team.

What we're looking for

Must have 5 years of experience in client-facing support or data center fields with a High School Diploma.
Must have 4 years of experience in client-facing support or data center fields with an Associate Degree.
Requires 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, data center services, or server administration.
Requires 3 years of experience in hyperscale cloud environments.
Knowledge of server, storage, and network hardware systems including RAID, Linux/Unix, and CLI is required.
Must possess Data Center or Cloud Industry Certifications.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb a 9 ft ladder is required.
