What you'll do

Identify opportunities to replace or upgrade server components and manage hardware lifecycles.
Validate cabling, network environment builds, and connectivity to ensure devices are error-free.
Manage the ticketing system by assigning work, troubleshooting issues, and documenting resolutions within SLAs.
Mentor less experienced technicians on best practices for power distribution and hardware replacement.
Ensure all work complies with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Maintenance Operation Protocols (MOPs).
Act as a technical liaison to identify and resolve risks regarding system resiliency and availability.
Coordinate with vendors and project teams to test and validate electrical and mechanical systems.
Analyze data to identify recurring trends and escalate complex issues to global teams or experts.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have 5 years of experience in client-facing support, data centers, or related fields (or less if holding a relevant degree).
Applicants must possess 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, data center services, or server administration.
Candidates should have 3 years of experience in hyperscale cloud environments.
Knowledge of server, storage, and network hardware systems is required.
Proficiency in IT hardware concepts including RAID, Linux/Unix, and CLI is required.
Data Center or Cloud Industry Certifications are preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb a 9 ft ladder is required.
Must be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and 10-12 hour shifts.
