What you'll do

Identify opportunities for server component upgrades and perform hardware maintenance throughout the equipment lifecycle.
Validate cabling, network environment builds, and connectivity to ensure devices are error-free.
Manage and assign work within a ticketing system while troubleshooting issues within established SLAs.
Mentor junior technicians on best practices for power distribution, hardware replacement, and network configurations.
Ensure all work complies with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Method of Procedure (MOPs).
Act as a technical liaison to identify and resolve risks regarding resiliency, reliability, and availability.
Coordinate with project teams and vendors to test and validate electrical and mechanical systems.
Analyze trends and recurring problems to implement process improvements and escalate issues to global teams.

What we're looking for

Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
A 2-year or 4-year degree or relevant work experience is preferred.
Requires knowledge of server, storage, and network hardware systems and components.
Requires Linux administration knowledge and the ability to run Linux commands.
Requires at least 1 year of experience in structured cabling copper/fiber and testing.
Requires at least 1 year of experience in cooling and electrical systems concepts.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb a 9 ft ladder, and stand or walk for long periods.
Must be available to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
