The Technology Governance & Optimization Senior Manager joins the team to lead Application Governance and Technology Enablement across the enterprise. This role focuses on operationalizing and improving the inventory and management of application assets while establishing technology standards within a broader governance framework. The manager is responsible for developing the enterprise application inventory, creating operating models, policies, and roadmaps, and managing technical debt tracking through business capability heatmaps. Key responsibilities include implementing governance processes across ServiceNow modules, defining KPIs for platform health and risk, and ensuring compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements. The role requires expertise in the ServiceNow platform, IT asset management, software asset management, and CMDB tools. Candidates must possess strong skills in risk controls, architecture, and executive communication to manage stakeholder relations and prioritize governance initiatives within the application portfolio management domain.
Develop and deliver the enterprise application inventory including governance models, policies, standards, and roadmaps.
Design and implement technology governance frameworks specifically for Application Portfolio Management (APM).
Implement governance processes across ServiceNow modules to enforce configuration standards and lifecycle controls.
Manage APM practices such as application rationalization, technical debt tracking, and alignment to business capabilities.
Define KPIs and create dashboards to report on platform health, compliance, risk, and portfolio value.
Partner with cross-functional teams to enforce platform guardrails and change control protocols.
Manage stakeholder communications and executive briefings regarding governance initiatives and roadmap prioritization.
Ensure data compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements for ServiceNow and APM data.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 to meet export control requirements.
10+ years of experience in an IT leadership role with exposure to IT Governance, Operations, Service Management, and/or audit.
5+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform.
5+ years of experience with IT asset management, software asset management, or related tools like CMDB and SAM.
5+ years of experience identifying use cases, defining KPIs, and demonstrating business impact.
5+ years of experience using business and financial acumen to influence and shape process or strategy.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Security, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
