What you'll do

• Lead the response to complex production incidents to restore service and drive lasting improvements.
• Provide technical support for production environments by diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure system stability.
• Analyze software applications using advanced technologies like AI and Gen AI to solve complex problems.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA, and deployment teams to ensure stable implementation of new software updates.
• Manage database design, modeling, replication, and data warehousing across big data platforms.
• Oversee infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance and health using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Produce metrics, measurements, and trend reports to inform department strategy and project outcomes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Databases, ETL, and data transformation tools like Synapse, Hyperscale, and Kafka.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, ADF, PySpark, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Azure Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SPLUNK and Dynatrace.
• 2 or more years of project leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud-based architectures, and infrastructure as code principles.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements, and trend reports.
• Azure Certifications (preferred).
• Experience with DevOps Cloud platform certification (Azure or GCP) (preferred).
