TL;DR · Senior Director, Technology Program Management

Senior Director, Technology Program Management serves as the execution backbone for the Chief Data Officer’s organization. This leader manages a complex portfolio of strategic initiatives including Data/AI ML Platforms, Analytics, Integration, Automation, and platform transformation. The role involves establishing operating models, overseeing multi-year roadmaps, managing cross-functional dependencies, and ensuring delivery predictability across high-stakes technical landscapes. You will lead large-scale programs involving data engineering, cloud infrastructure, generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows while partnering with Engineering, Security, and Product teams to resolve architectural risks. The position requires deep fluency in modern data architectures, API integration, and production-grade AI governance. By leveraging automation and AI tools for project management, you will drive accountability across global teams to deliver critical enterprise-scale capabilities in a complex, multi-layered technology environment focused on advanced data intelligence and automated workflows.

What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end portfolio operating model for the Chief Data & Intelligence Office, including strategy, roadmaps, and risk management.
  • Establish a single view of portfolio health to identify risks, track progress, and determine necessary executive interventions.
  • Lead large-scale technical programs involving data engineering, AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise automation.
  • Translate complex technical roadmaps into executable plans while managing cross-functional dependencies across product, engineering, and security teams.
  • Drive accountability by establishing clear ownership, decision rights, and measurable outcomes for all project commitments.
  • Influence senior leadership by translating technical signals into concise insights and actionable recommendations to resolve organizational friction.
  • Model AI-first workflows by using generative AI and automation to improve program operations and team productivity.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing Technical Program Management organization focused on craftsmanship and execution excellence.

What we're looking for

  • You must have 12–15+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering, product/platform delivery, or related technology leadership roles at enterprise scale.
  • You must have a proven track record leading portfolios of complex, multi-year Data, Analytics, Cloud, Platform, or AI programs with significant dependencies.
  • You must be technically credible to engage with senior engineers and architects regarding system designs, data architectures, and cloud platforms.
  • You must possess knowledge of SDLCs, APIs/integration, data governance, reliability, security, and AI/agent architectures.
  • You must demonstrate executive communication skills, structured problem solving, and the ability to manage financial and capacity requirements.
  • You must have experience building and leading high-performing TPM or portfolio teams in a global, matrixed organization.
  • You must be proficient in using AI and automation for planning, risk detection, and program operations.
  • You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (advanced degree preferred).
