System Signal/Power Integrity Engineer

What you'll do

• Support high data rate SerDes applications up to 400G systems through signal and power integrity design trade-offs.
• Develop electromagnetic field models using Ansys HFSS and electronic suites for package and PCB designs.
• Simulate schematic models and environments within Keysight ADS while managing model accuracy trade-offs.
• Perform VNA/TDR measurements above 50GHz to correlate physical results with simulation models.
• Conduct PDN impedance analysis and design using tools like SI-Wave or CPA.
• Evaluate material, connector solutions, and fabrication techniques for high-speed PCB and package designs.
• Provide technical support for customer analysis and debug efforts related to signal integrity deliverables.
• Document and deliver SI models with supporting documentation to internal teams and customers.

What we're looking for

• BS + , MS + , or PhD + in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• Experience in signal integrity for high-speed digital applications and electromagnetic transmission line theory.
• Expertise in microwave theory, numerical field solver theory, power integrity, IC package design, or photonics.
• Proficiency with EM modeling tools such as Ansys HFSS, SIWave, Q3D, and Polar.
• Experience with circuit simulation tools like Keysight ADS.
• Knowledge of high-speed data communications including SerDes links, insertion loss, crosstalk, and jitter analysis.
• Understanding of power integrity concepts including PDN impedance analysis and SMT capacitor performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Matlab, Cadence APD/Allegro, Linux, or Keysight AEL (preferred).
