System Signal/Power Integrity Engineer

What you'll do

• Support signal and power integrity design trade-offs for high data rate SerDes applications up to 400G.
• Develop electromagnetic field models using Ansys HFSS and electronic suites for package and PCB designs.
• Simulate schematic models and environments within Keysight ADS to ensure model accuracy.
• Perform VNA/TDR measurements at 50GHz+ and correlate results with simulations for debug purposes.
• Conduct PDN impedance analysis and design using CPA or SI-Wave for power integrity.
• Determine and document technical requirements for ASIC package and PCB designs based on industry standards.
• Provide SI models and supporting documentation to internal engineers and customers.
• Capture high-fidelity lab measurements using real-time oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

What we're looking for

• BS + , MS + , or PhD + experience in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• Experience in signal integrity for high-speed digital applications, electromagnetic transmission line theory, or microwave theory.
• Experience in numerical field solver theory, power integrity, IC package design, or photonics.
• Proficiency with EM modeling tools such as Ansys HFSS, SIWave, Q3D, and Polar.
• Proficiency with circuit simulation tools like Keysight ADS.
• Experience with VNA/TDR measurements (50GHz+) and high-speed data communications.
• Knowledge of PDN impedance analysis, ultra-low impedance measurements, and SMT capacitor performance metrics.
• Matlab (preferred); Cadence APD/Allegro (preferred); Linux (preferred); Keysight AEL (preferred).
