Power Integrity Engineer

What you'll do

• Conduct end-to-end simulation studies for die, interposer, package, PCB, and PMU to meet impedance and voltage droop specifications.
• Design and implement end-to-end power delivery network (PDN) solutions for SoCs.
• Define PDN architecture and design solution spaces for target systems.
• Perform feasibility studies for silicon floorplans, advanced droop mitigation schemes, and voltage regulator modeling.
• Execute model-to-hardware correlation for components and product-level systems.
• Provide implementation guidelines and feedback to silicon, package, and system design teams.
• Analyze noise coupling, voltage guard bands, and active droop mitigation.
• Verify power integrity quality using laboratory measurements and equipment.

What we're looking for

• BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• M.S. and/or Ph.D. with an academic background in Power/Signal Integrity, Analog Circuit Design, or Electromagnetism (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python coding and AI/ML assisted automation experience (preferred).
• Experience in PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation (preferred).
• Experience in design and analysis of product power supply solutions (preferred).
• Understanding of power supply architecture, voltage regulator technologies, PCB/package design trends, and low-power design methodologies (preferred).
• Deep understanding of Voltage Regulator design principles and electrical performance in system environments (preferred).
• Knowledge of 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic/transmission line theory, and lab equipment like VNA and real-time scopes (preferred).
