Power Integrity Engineer

What you'll do

• Define the power delivery network (PDN) architecture and design solutions for various system requirements.
• Model, simulate, and characterize power delivery across die, package, module, board, and voltage regulator levels.
• Perform end-to-end PI studies to meet strict impedance, voltage droop, and noise specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies for silicon floorplans, advanced droop mitigation schemes, and system mockup designs.
• Provide technical implementation guidelines and actionable feedback to silicon, package, and system design teams.
• Execute model-to-hardware correlation for components, modules, and full product systems.
• Analyze digital-to-analog/RF noise coupling and manage voltage guard bands.
• Verify power integrity performance and efficiency using advanced lab measurements and equipment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Advanced degree in Power/Signal Integrity, Power Electronics, Electromagnetics, Microwave, or Analog/RF Circuit Design (preferred).
• Experience in PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python coding and AI/ML assisted automation experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic theory, and transmission line theory (preferred).
• Experience with lab equipment including VNA, real-time scope, and spectrum analyzer (preferred).
• Understanding of power supply architecture, multi-stage voltage regulator technologies, and PCB/package design (preferred).
• Ability to work and communicate efficiently in cross-functional teams.
