Power Integrity Engineer

What you'll do

• Define the PDN architecture and design solution space for systems with specific power and noise requirements.
• Conduct end-to-end simulations modeling the die, interposer, package, PCB, and PMU to meet impedance and voltage droop specs.
• Perform power delivery modeling, simulation, and characterization for the die, package, module, board, and Voltage Regulator.
• Analyze on-die inrush, off-die droop budgets, PDN signoffs, and digital-to-analog/RF noise coupling.
• Provide implementation guidelines and actionable feedback to silicon, package, and system design teams.
• Perform feasibility studies for silicon floorplans, advanced droop mitigation schemes, and voltage regulator tuning.
• Execute model-to-hardware correlation for components and at the product or system level.
• Verify power integrity performance and efficiency using advanced lab measurements and equipment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree required.
• M.S. or Ph.D. with academic background in Power/Signal Integrity, Power Electronics, Electromagnetics, Microwave, and/or Analog/RF Circuit Design (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python coding and AI/ML assisted automation experience (preferred).
• Experience in PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation (preferred).
• Experience in design and analysis of product power supply solutions (preferred).
• Understanding of power supply architecture, voltage regulator technologies, PCB/package design trends, and chip supply design (preferred).
• Deep understanding of Voltage Regulator design principles and electrical performance in system environments (preferred).
• Knowledge of 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic/transmission line theory, and lab equipment like VNA and real-time scopes (preferred).
