Power Integrity Engineer

What you'll do

• Define and design power delivery network (PDN) architectures for various SoC systems.
• Model, simulate, and characterize power delivery across die, package, module, board, and voltage regulator levels.
• Conduct end-to-end PI studies to meet strict impedance, voltage droop, and noise specifications.
• Perform model-to-hardware correlation for components, modules, and full systems.
• Provide technical implementation guidelines and feedback to silicon, package, and system design teams.
• Execute feasibility studies for silicon floorplans, advanced droop mitigation, and voltage regulator tuning.
• Analyze digital-to-analog/RF noise coupling and determine necessary voltage guard bands.
• Verify power integrity performance and efficiency using advanced lab measurements and equipment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Power/Signal Integrity, Power Electronics, Electromagnetics, Microwave, or Analog/RF Circuit Design (preferred).
• Experience in PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation in time/frequency domains (preferred).
• Understanding of power supply architecture including multi-stage voltage regulator technologies and PCB/package design trends (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python coding and experience with AI/ML assisted automation (preferred).
• Knowledge of 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic theory, and transmission line theory (preferred).
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as VNA, real-time scopes, and spectrum analyzers (preferred).
• Ability to work and communicate efficiently in cross-functional teams.
