Power Integrity Engineer

What you'll do

• Define the PDN architecture and design solution space for systems with diverse power and noise specifications.
• Perform power delivery modeling, simulation, and characterization for die, package, module, board, and voltage regulators.
• Lead end-to-end PI studies to meet stringent impedance, voltage droop, and noise specifications.
• Analyze on-die inrush, off-die droop budgets, PDN signoffs, and digital-to-analog/RF noise coupling.
• Drive feasibility studies for silicon floorplans, advanced droop mitigation schemes, and voltage regulator tuning.
• Perform model-to-hardware correlation for components, modules, and full product systems.
• Provide implementation guidelines and actionable feedback to silicon, package, and system design teams.
• Verify power integrity performance and efficiency using advanced lab measurements and equipment.

What we're looking for

• BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• M.S. or Ph.D. with an academic background in Power/Signal Integrity, Power Electronics, Electromagnetics, Microwave, and/or Analog/RF Circuit Design (preferred).
• Understanding of power supply architecture, including multi-stage voltage regulator technologies, PCB and package design, and chip supply design (preferred).
• Experience in PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation in time/frequency-domain (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python coding and AI/ML assisted automation experience (preferred).
• Experience in design and analysis of product power supply solutions (preferred).
• Deep understanding of Voltage Regulator design principles and electrical performance in the system environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic and transmission line theory, and lab equipment like VNA and real-time scopes (preferred).
