Experience with VNA, real-time scopes, and spectrum analyzers is essential for validating performance against stringent impedance and voltage droop specifications within the product ecosystem.

What you'll do

  • Define the power delivery network (PDN) architecture and design solutions for various system specifications.
  • Conduct end-to-end simulation studies of die, package, PCB, and PMU components to meet impedance requirements.
  • Model, simulate, and characterize power delivery across die, package, module, board, and voltage regulator levels.
  • Perform feasibility studies for silicon floorplans, advanced droop mitigation schemes, and voltage regulator tuning.
  • Analyze off-die droop budgets, inrush currents, and digital-to-analog/RF noise coupling.
  • Provide technical implementation guidelines and actionable feedback to cross-functional hardware teams.
  • Correlate simulation models with physical hardware measurements at the component and system levels.
  • Verify power integrity performance and efficiency using advanced laboratory measurement equipment.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • M.S. or Ph.D. with academic background in Power/Signal Integrity, Power Electronics, Electromagnetics, Microwave, and/or Analog/RF Circuit Design (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Python coding and AI/ML assisted automation experience (preferred).
  • Experience in PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation (preferred).
  • Experience in design and analysis of product power supply solution (preferred).
  • Understanding of power supply architecture including voltage regulator technologies, PCB/package design trends, and chip supply design (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of Voltage Regulator design principles and electrical performance in system environments (preferred).
  • Knowledge of 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic theory, lab equipment, and cross-functional communication (preferred).
