What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end supplier development for power electronics portfolio, from selection to high-volume production.
  • Assess suppliers' manufacturing capabilities and technical readiness for silicon-based designs and thermal management solutions.
  • Lead new product introduction activities, including PPAP, FAI, and reliability campaigns for full-rate manufacturing.
  • Develop robust qualification plans for power electronics, covering HALT, HASS, EMI/EMC compliance, and corner-case testing.
  • Drive supplier performance improvement through Lean methodologies and systematic problem-solving techniques.
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues related to common power electronics failure modes.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • 3+ years experience in power electronics, quality, reliability, or supplier development
  • Expert knowledge of power electronics manufacturing processes and failure modes
  • Hands-on experience with PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, FAI for power components
  • Familiarity with IPC-9592, IEC 62368-1, AEC-Q101, AS9100 standards
  • Practical experience qualifying GaN and SiC MOSFETs, capacitors, magnetic components
  • Strong problem-solving skills using Lean methodologies and statistical methods
