The Sr. Electrical Engineer joins the Cloud Hardware Systems Engineering team to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure hardware. What we're looking for
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of technical engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
Equivalent experience to the specified educational and experience requirements.
5+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering compute, storage, networking, or accelerator-based hardware systems including high-speed and high-power designs.
5+ years of experience executing board-level and system-level bring-up, validation, and functional test plans while diagnosing complex hardware issues in server or cloud environments.
5+ years of experience collaborating across hardware, firmware, software, and infrastructure teams to evaluate design tradeoffs and resolve system-level challenges.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Experience with high-volume manufacturing, datacenter operations, high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet), OS/firmware, and strong communication skills (preferred).
