What you'll do

Own the electrical architecture and design for containerized payloads from concept through production.
Develop electrical schematics, power system single line diagrams, and wire harnesses for subsystems.
Design electrical interfaces and enclosures to integrate sensors and peripheral equipment with autonomous systems.
Troubleshoot complex issues across electrical and software boundaries using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and debugging tools.
Develop bespoke subsystems including sensor integration, power management, and networking capabilities.
Conduct peer-level design reviews and perform requirements analysis to ensure compliance with project goals.
Perform field testing on the water to demonstrate payloads to internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
8+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
Proficiency in developing schematics, interconnect diagrams, and wiring harnesses.
Experience with electronic CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks.
Familiarity with networking and standard interfaces like Ethernet, CAN, I2C, USB, MODBUS, and ProfiNet.
Competence using test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automated testing.
Experience in design for signal integrity, power integrity, and low-power electronics.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
