The Sr. Director, IT serves as the senior IT leader for the Biosciences Division, acting as a strategic business partner to the Division President and leadership team. This role specifically addresses the technical challenges of a complex business division within a regulated environment, focusing on digital transformation, data governance, and cybersecurity to drive profitable growth.
Serve as the primary technology advisor to the Biosciences Division President and Leadership Team.
Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business priorities and enterprise strategies.
Translate business needs into technology solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Champion the practical application of AI, automation, and analytics to drive profitable growth.
Lead strategic technology initiatives through portfolio management, risk management, and organizational change.
Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing global team focused on innovation and accountability.
Manage annual operating and capital budgets to ensure technology investments align with business priorities.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including senior leadership responsibility within a complex global organization.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology strategies for business growth, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
Experience leading initiatives involving enterprise applications, cloud technologies, data and analytics, AI, automation, and modern digital capabilities.
Demonstrated experience working with Commercial teams to develop and deploy key capabilities in support of Sales and Marketing teams.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data governance, cybersecurity, and technology delivery within a regulated environment.
Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, diagnostics, healthcare, manufacturing, or another regulated industry (preferred).
