SR. Critical Environment Ops Technician As a member of the Cloud Operations & Innovation team, you will maintain critical infrastructure to ensure the continuous operation of data centers supporting essential online services. You must be proficient in following safety protocols, managing incident responses, and interpreting telemetry data to proactively identify equipment trends and ensure infrastructure reliability.

What you'll do

Perform complex maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems across multiple disciplines.
Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and methods of procedure (MOPs) for critical infrastructure.
Lead onsite incident response teams to resolve abnormal conditions and perform root cause analysis.
Monitor facility performance using telemetry and control systems to identify trends and potential equipment failures.
Manage third-party contractors by providing escort services, overseeing work scope, and ensuring safety compliance.
Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track assets, work orders, and parts inventory.
Provide technical mentorship, training, and oversight to less experienced technicians on complex systems.
Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations, including job hazard assessments and permit requirements.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
4+ years of mission critical services work or applied learning experience in high availability environments.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
Associate's Degree or technical trade certification (preferred).
5+ years mission-critical services experience with an Associate's Degree or trade certification (preferred).
7+ years mission-critical services experience with a High School Diploma (preferred).
