Engineering Services Specialist

What you'll do

• Install, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire life safety systems.
• Control daily operations of all mechanical equipment within the physical plant and buildings.
• Maintain refrigeration, water cooling, air conditioning, boilers, and heating equipment.
• Execute tenant service requests accurately and in a timely manner.
• Formulate and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for the building.
• Monitor the quality and pricing of work performed by outside contractors.
• Evaluate building systems to improve performance and operational efficiency.
• Act as an on-call engineer for the portfolio and participate in emergency response procedures.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4 years of experience in electrical and HVAC trades, including rooftop units.
• 4 years of experience in backup systems such as generators and UPS.
• Universal CFC certification.
• Stationary Engineer’s License.
• Knowledge of building automation, water treatment, and fire life safety systems.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, and work on rooftops.
