What you'll do

Perform preventative maintenance, monitoring, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
Conduct cleaning, inspection, calibration, and parts replacement on central plant equipment like chillers and cooling towers.
Review service request summaries to identify and resolve recurring operational problems.
Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments while maintaining accurate documentation.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of work and pricing provided by outside contractors.
Manage inventory control and perform periodic tool and instrument inventory checks.
Perform daily water treatment readings and ensure compliance with hazardous materials policies.

What we're looking for

High School diploma or GED equivalent with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.
Universal Technician Certification for CFCs (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Knowledge of central plant operations including chillers, cooling towers, and pump systems.
Ability to diagnose malfunctions and implement corrective actions for mechanical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in inclement weather conditions.
Stationary Engineer License (Level 1, 2, or 3) is preferred.
