Operating Engineer, Data Centers

What you'll do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Monitor and adjust HVAC equipment, boilers, pumps, valves, and other building management systems.
• Oversee third-party contractors to ensure safe and compliant operation of critical infrastructure.
• Install and repair piping, motor controls, heat exchangers, and various electrical components.
• Execute work orders for maintenance on both critical systems and the physical building structure.
• Perform Building Management System console operations and monitor real-time data for equipment performance.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations including fire, evacuation, and equipment failures.
• Document all completed tasks and maintenance activities in the computerized management system.

What we're looking for

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have at least four years of experience in the building maintenance industry.
• An accredited trade school degree in HVAC, electronics, or another related trade is required.
• Union training and certification is an acceptable substitute for a trade school degree.
• Must possess Universal CFC certification.
• Must be proficient with tools including ladders, lifts, hand tools, volt meters, and fire extinguishers.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
