What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and verify FPGA logic using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog on AMD Xilinx devices.
  • Create and maintain routing and timing constraints to ensure closure across various PVT corners.
  • Perform board-level bring-up and lab debug using Vivado tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Manage the full firmware lifecycle from requirements decomposition through architecture, RTL implementation, and release support.
  • Resolve hardware and firmware integration issues through root-cause analysis in a laboratory environment.
  • Develop scripts in Tcl or Python to support simulation, verification workflows, and automation.
  • Read schematics to coordinate with hardware and software teams during system integration.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of professional FPGA/firmware engineering experience.
  • Active security clearance (Secret or above).
  • Hands-on AMD Xilinx FPGA development experience using Vivado tools.
  • Strong RTL design skills in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog.
  • Practical experience writing and debugging routing/timing constraints (XDC) and driving timing closure.
  • Experience with simulation, verification workflows, and scripting in Tcl and/or Python.
  • Experience in Linux-based development environments and version control workflows.
  • U.S. citizens.
