What you'll do

  • Develop, test, and implement FPGA designs using Xilinx SoC/FPGA hardware.
  • Write VHDL or Verilog code for digital circuit design and simulation.
  • Integrate third-party vendor IP into existing designs as required.
  • Manage the full design life cycle from initial requirements and concept to board bring-up.
  • Implement high-speed communications such as Ethernet and serial, along with analog and digital signal processing.
  • Ensure all designs meet safety and performance standards traceable to top-level system requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve bugs identified during HDL-level and system-level hands-on testing.

What we're looking for

  • Proficient in VHDL and/or Verilog.
  • Experience in SoC hardware bring-up, preferably on ARM-based systems.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience preferred in FPGA/HDL hardware design.
  • Experience with Xilinx SoC is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with design software like Vivado (preferred), ModelSim, or Quartus.
  • Working knowledge of designing for safety-critical functions (preferred).
  • Low-level firmware (C/C++) development for bring-up and test (preferred).
