You will utilize VHDL, Verilog, and Linux development environments while managing Git and CI/CD workflows. The role requires expertise in high-speed digital interfaces such as PCIE, JESD, and Aurora to solve resource and timing contentions within complex, contested electronic warfare environments.

What you'll do

  • Own FPGA development for various software defined radio platforms to enable electronic warfare functions.
  • Design and test VHDL DSP modules and supporting infrastructure.
  • Integrate subsystems into larger FPGA cores while resolving resource and timing contentions.
  • Develop drivers for custom RF component boards including PLLs and mixed-signal front ends.
  • Lead the hardware bring-up of state-of-the-art boards for software defined radios.
  • Manage project deliverables against timelines and provide technical documentation.
  • Mentor and lead junior engineers through large-scale design tasks.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong experience with DSP implementation for embedded devices and/or software defined radios.
  • Experience with Xilinx/AMD SOC/FPGAs and their architecture.
  • Experience with bring-up of high-speed digital interfaces like PCIE, JESD, Aurora, and N-Gbps Optical.
  • Proficiency in HDL design using VHDL and/or Verilog.
  • Proficiency in a Linux development environment, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience mentoring or leading 1-3 engineers through large design tasks.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
