The Senior Associate, Electrical Engineering- FPGA joins a cooperative team to develop and verify embedded Modem and RF Communication Systems digital signal processing solutions in FPGA firmware. Candidates must also understand standard streaming and memory mapped interfaces like Avalon and AMBA, as well as high-speed serializers, deserializers, and various memory interfaces.

What you'll do

  • Implement and validate algorithms in FPGAs and firmware.
  • Architect and design FPGA-based solutions for Modems, RF Transmission, and Satellite Communication Systems.
  • Perform detailed analysis on requirements, component synthesis, timing, and clock domain crossings.
  • Develop high-level and detailed verification test plans based on system specifications.
  • Participate in design and implementation reviews.
  • Define and refine design requirements with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement signal processing algorithms for RF communications systems.

What we're looking for

  • Must be able to obtain a US security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Graduate or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in signal processing for RF communications systems.
  • Proficiency in Xilinx Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim/Questa, or equivalent logic simulation tools (preferred).
  • Experience with FPGA vendor tools (Microsemi, Intel, Xilinx) and high complexity FPGA digital design techniques (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
