As a Solutions Sales Advisory Cloud & AI Data Platform (GBB) professional, you will join the Americas Data Platform GBB organization to provide specialized expertise in database and modernization. You will lead complex migration strategies for large estates, advise customers on architecture, and develop roadmaps for AI-ready data foundations. Your daily work involves building executive relationships, driving competitive displacement against platforms like AWS, Oracle, and Google Cloud, and creating reusable intellectual property such as playbooks and assessment frameworks. You will utilize deep knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure Databases, Azure Arc, and PAYGO to accelerate customer transformation. Additionally, you will serve as a critical feedback loop for engineering teams by identifying product gaps and market trends while coaching internal teams on modernization best practices to ensure successful adoption across the data platform.
Provide technical expertise on SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure Databases, and data estate modernization.
Lead database migration strategies and architecture roadmaps for complex customer environments.
Execute competitive displacement strategies against AWS, Oracle, and Google Cloud platforms.
Develop scalable growth motions to increase Azure database consumption and AI platform adoption.
Create reusable intellectual property, playbooks, and assessment frameworks to enable field teams.
Translate customer feedback and market trends into actionable insights for product and engineering teams.

What we're looking for
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field.
Possess at least 6 years of experience in technical solution architecture and enterprise sales, business development, strategic consulting, or technical consulting.
Provide deep domain expertise across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure Databases, and data estate modernization.
Develop and execute strategies for database modernization, cloud migration, and AI-ready data foundations.
Drive competitive displacement strategies against major cloud providers like AWS, Oracle, and Google Cloud.
Create reusable intellectual property, playbooks, and assessment frameworks to scale field enablement.
Preferred: Hold a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in technical solution architecture or consulting.
Preferred: Possess relevant technical certifications in cloud technologies or solution architecture, such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
