As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect - Cloud & AI Data Platform, you will join the Cloud + AI Data Platform team to support customers in building secure, scalable, and AI-ready solutions on Microsoft Azure. In this customer-facing role, you will lead architectural design sessions, proof-of-concept initiatives, and production deployments for mission-critical workloads while ensuring performance, resiliency, and security. You will utilize established execution frameworks to drive data modernization and AI journeys. The role requires proficiency in technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Cosmos DB, and Purview, along with experience in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. You will solve complex technical challenges by translating customer problems into industry solutions that optimize value for their data and AI investments while navigating the complexities of modern data infrastructure and digital transformation.
Design secure, scalable, and AI-ready data architectures on Microsoft Azure for mission-critical workloads.
Lead architectural design sessions, proof-of-concept initiatives, and production deployments for customer data modernization.
Implement solutions using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Cosmos DB, and Purview.
Translate complex customer problems into technical solutions that align with product strategy and ROI goals.
Advise partners on developing repeatable offerings and provide technical pre-sales support to drive solution adoption.
Mentor team members and lead upskilling activities regarding cloud infrastructure, security, and AI capabilities.
Identify and mitigate technical risks while ensuring customer solutions are cost-optimized and performance-ready.
Contribute to the development of internal intellectual property and shared frameworks for scalable data solutions.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, architecture, or consulting.
8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting (preferred).
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field (preferred).
6+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting (preferred).
4+ years of experience in customer-facing roles and technical projects (preferred).
Knowledge of Data Analytics tools like Databricks, Fabric, CosmosDB, Purview, and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL (preferred).
Technical Certification in Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google, or security certifications (preferred).
