As a Solution Engineer - Cloud & AI Infrastructure, you will join the Azure Platform team to support commercial customers in designing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures. You will utilize deep expertise in Windows, SQL Server, Linux, PostgreSQL, and Oracle workloads while integrating partner solutions from NetApp, VMware, RedHat, and SAP. Additionally, you will design hybrid networking solutions involving VPNs and secure routing to solve complex infrastructure challenges and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks like GDPR and HIPAA.

What you'll do

Design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures using Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
Lead technical workshops and architecture sessions to accelerate customer adoption of Azure.
Perform migrations for core workloads including Windows, SQL Server, Linux, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
Implement containerization best practices and Azure-native services like AKS and Arc.
Design hybrid and cloud-native networking solutions including virtual networks, VPNs, and secure routing.
Conduct technical demos and proofs of concept to influence solution design and enable deployments.
Resolve technical blockers by collaborating with engineering teams and sharing customer insights.
Ensure cloud environments meet regulatory requirements and security compliance frameworks.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship.
Must have 3+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field and 2+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
Must have a master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field and 1+ year of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
Equivalent experience to the above education and experience requirements is accepted.
6+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery experience (preferred).
Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetApp, VMware, and RedHat (preferred).
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and Public Sector compliance standards (preferred).
