What you'll do

Lead software development efforts as a Product Owner within an Agile scrum team environment.
Manage product backlogs and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of mission objectives.
Utilize Jira to manage project workflows, track progress, and coordinate team activities.
Develop technical documentation and communicate project status effectively to management and customers.
Create proposals and write basis-of-estimates (BOEs) for various software efforts.
Make data-driven decisions to improve product quality and team productivity.
Drive work toward successful completion while navigating a fast-paced, high-performing program.

What we're looking for

Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Bachelor’s degree in Science with 5+ years of software development experience, or 3+ years with a Master's, or 9+ years without a degree (Principal level).
Bachelor’s degree in Science with 8+ years of software development experience, or 5+ years with a Master's, or 12+ years without a degree (Sr. Principal level).
At least 3 years of Java Software Development experience.
At least 1 year of Agile Software Team leadership experience.
Experience using Jira as both a developer and in a team leadership capacity.
Experience working proposals and writing basis-of-estimates for software efforts.
Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred).
Prior experience as a Product Owner (preferred).
Prior experience working within an Agile Release Train (preferred).
Ability to pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph (not required to start).
