What you'll do

  • Own the full FPGA lifecycle from architecture and RTL coding to synthesis, timing closure, and hardware bring-up.
  • Develop FPGA-based processing for camera and multi-sensor data paths supporting real-time image and DSP.
  • Create and maintain test benches to verify HDL code for functional correctness and performance.
  • Execute plans to debug and validate designs using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Integrate various communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, USB, MIPI, and high-speed serial interfaces.
  • Document FPGA architecture and communicate technical concepts to cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Explore emerging sensor technologies to contribute to technology roadmaps for future products.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required, with MS or PhD preferred in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency with FPGA design tools including Vivado and Lattice Radiant.
  • Strong System Verilog or Verilog RTL design skills.
  • Experience with communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, MIPI, DP, and high-speed serial interfaces.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze designs using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, ChipScope, and Reveal.
  • Experience with image/signal processing implementation in FPGA including ISP pipelines, filtering, and frame buffering.
  • Understanding of low-level software (C or C++), Python/Tcl for automation, and CI/CD methodologies.
