You will own RTL coding, IP integration, FPGA synthesis, place and route, and timing closure while performing hands-on lab work with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Required skills include proficiency in System Verilog, Vivado, and Lattice Radiant, along with experience in protocols like I2C, SPI, and MIPI. You will implement image and signal processing pipelines, including ISP filtering and frame buffering, to solve complex real-time data path problems for mobile and device-driven hardware.

What you'll do

Own RTL coding, IP selection, synthesis, place and route, and timing closure for FPGA designs.
Develop FPGA-based processing for camera and multi-sensor data paths supporting real-time image and DSP.
Create and maintain test benches to verify HDL code for functional correctness and performance.
Execute plans to bring up, debug, and validate hardware designs using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Contribute to system and micro-architecture designs for multi-sensor acquisition and processing systems.
Document FPGA architecture and communicate technical concepts to cross-functional partners and leadership.
Explore emerging sensor technologies and contribute to technology roadmaps for future products.

What we're looking for

BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Proficiency with FPGA design tools such as Vivado and Lattice Radiant, including design constraints.
Strong System Verilog or Verilog RTL design skills.
Experience with communication interfaces and protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, USB, MIPI, and high-speed serial interfaces.
Troubleshooting and analytical skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, ChipScope, and Reveal.
Experience with image/signal processing implementation in FPGA (ISP pipelines, filtering, frame buffering) (preferred).
Understanding of low-level software (C/C++) and Python/Tcl for automation and test (preferred).
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with FPGA design experience (preferred).
