What you'll do

  • Design advanced wireless digital communication and electronic warfare systems using FPGA technology.
  • Execute the full design lifecycle including requirement definition, coding, simulation, synthesis, and placement/routing.
  • Implement complex modem and DSP circuits including digital filters, FFTs, and error-correction codes.
  • Develop and verify hardware designs through simulation, unit testing, and testbench architectures.
  • Integrate high-speed serial interfaces and standard communication protocols like Ethernet, PCIe, and SDRAM.
  • Perform laboratory debugging using digital scopes, logic analyzers, and other complex measurement devices.
  • Review and interpret technical schematic drawings to support system integration.
  • Manage code revisions and project tasks using tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and JIRA.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, a Graduate degree with 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
  • Active U.S. security clearance.
  • Experience in wireless digital communications, modems, networking, and/or digital signal processing (DSP).
  • Experience in VHDL (preferred) or Verilog development languages.
  • Experience implementing complex modem or DSP circuits in programmable logic using FPGA devices or ASIC design.
  • Experience with simulation, synthesis, and placement tools such as ModelSim, Synplicity, Xilinx Vivado/ISE, or Altera Quartus.
  • Experience with HLS (High-Level Synthesis) and laboratory debug techniques using scopes, logic analyzers, and BERTS.
  • U.S. citizens.
