What you'll do

Manage the full lifecycle of FPGA designs from initial proposals and requirement definitions to final verification.
Develop advanced wireless digital communication systems and electronic warfare systems using VHDL or Verilog.
Implement complex modem and DSP circuits including digital filters, FFTs, and error-correction codes.
Perform FPGA verification through simulation, unit testing, and testbench architecture development.
Execute synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis using tools like Vivado, ISE, or Quartus.
Debug hardware in a laboratory environment using digital scopes, logic analyzers, and BERTs.
Integrate high-speed serial interfaces, memory controllers, and industry-standard networking protocols.
Review schematic drawings and manage code revisions using Git, Bitbucket, and JIRA.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years of experience, Graduate Degree with 7 years, or 13 years of experience without a degree.
Active U.S. security clearance.
Experience in wireless digital communications, modems, networking, and/or digital signal processing (DSP).
Experience in VHDL (preferred) or Verilog development languages.
Experience implementing complex modem and/or DSP circuits in programmable logic using FPGA devices (ASIC design experience is also applicable) (preferred).
Experience with modem FPGA development including DSP, digital filters, FFTs, and error-correction codes (preferred).
Experience with simulation, synthesis, and placement software tools such as ModelSim, Synplicity, Xilinx Vivado/ISE, and/or Altera Quartus (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
