What you'll do

Manage the full lifecycle of FPGA designs from proposal and requirement definition to verification testing.
Develop advanced wireless digital communication systems and electronic warfare systems using VHDL or Verilog.
Implement complex modem and DSP circuits including digital filters, FFTs, and error-correction codes like Turbo or LDPC.
Perform FPGA verification through simulation, synthesis, and unit testing using tools like ModelSim or Vivado.
Design and integrate high-speed serial interfaces, memory controllers, and standard protocols such as PCIe and Ethernet.
Conduct laboratory debugging using digital scopes, logic analyzers, and other complex measurement devices.
Review and interpret technical schematic drawings to support hardware design integration.
Manage code revisions and project tasks using industry tools like Git, Bitbucket, and JIRA.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience, a Graduate degree with 7 years, or no degree with 13 years of experience.
Active U.S. security clearance.
Experience in wireless digital communications, modems, networking, and/or digital signal processing (DSP).
Experience in VHDL (preferred) or Verilog development languages.
Experience implementing complex modem or DSP circuits in programmable logic using FPGA devices or equivalent ASIC design experience.
Experience with modem FPGA development including high-speed DSP data paths, digital filters, FFTs, and error-correction codes (preferred).
Experience with simulation, synthesis, and placement tools like ModelSim, Synplicity, Xilinx Vivado/ISE, or Altera Quartus.
U.S. citizens.
