What you'll do

Decompose and allocate system and box-level requirements into specific FPGA specifications.
Architect and implement digital solutions on various FPGA platforms to meet technical requirements.
Develop, simulate, and integrate specialized firmware designs for electronic warfare systems.
Map FPGA simulation work products to system-level requirements and capabilities.
Create block diagrams, flow diagrams, and design concepts based on product specifications.
Perform formal test and lab verification of functional systems on circuit card assemblies.
Lead the full life cycle development and integration of VHDL into different FPGA families.
Drive bench-level system integration involving hardware, software, and multiple FPGA designs.

What we're looking for

A BS degree and 4+ years of experience, an MS degree and 2+ years of experience, or 8+ years of related experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Experience coding in VHDL and modeling algorithms for FPGA-based modules.
Experience with Altera or Xilinx FPGA architectures (preferred).
Experience with high-speed serial protocols, such as PCI Express, SRIO, and Ethernet (preferred).
Experience with control protocols like I2C, SPI, RS-232/422, and DDR3/DDR4 (preferred).
Experience with formal FPGA verification, UVM, Directed Testing, and Code Coverage (preferred).
Knowledge of network protocols including IPv6 and UDP, and experience with SoC architectures (preferred).
