As a Senior Silicon Engineer on the Data Processing Unit team within the Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure group, you will join the front-end silicon team to develop high performance, low power, scalable, and programmable DPU silicon. You will be responsible for designing modules to solve complex datacenter problems, collaborating with software teams to co-develop programmable silicon implementation and microarchitecture while working with design verification and physical design teams to deliver quality modules. The role requires expertise in RTL Design, micro-architecture, and the development of complex modules from concept to silicon. Preferred technical skills include knowledge of Verilog, System Verilog, C++, Python, and Perl. You will also apply your understanding of processors, peripheral interconnect bus protocols, architectures, and low power microarchitecture techniques to address critical infrastructure challenges within the data processing unit domain.
