Senior Signal Integrity Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform detailed signal integrity simulations using tools like HyperLynx, HFSS, or CST to resolve crosstalk and signal loss issues.
• Analyze PCB layout designs to provide feedback and recommendations for optimal high-speed performance.
• Optimize high-speed signal paths for interfaces including DDR, PCIe, USB, SerDes, and Ethernet.
• Validate power delivery networks (PDN) to minimize noise, ground bounce, and other integrity issues.
• Develop and implement test strategies using oscilloscopes, VNAs, and TDRs to verify signals on prototypes and final products.
• Create and maintain signal integrity design guidelines, best practices, and checklists for the hardware engineering team.
• Evaluate new materials, design techniques, and tools to enhance overall system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve signal integrity issues during the product bring-up phase to ensure timely market delivery.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in signal integrity, high-speed PCB design, or related hardware engineering areas.
• Strong understanding of high-speed signal transmission principles including impedance, crosstalk, noise, and signal attenuation.
• Proficiency in SI analysis tools such as HyperLynx, HFSS, CST, ADS, or similar industry-standard software.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs, and protocol analyzers.
• Expertise in PCB layout and design rules for high-speed, multi-layer boards.
• Knowledge of high-speed communication buses such as Ethernet, PCIe, and SerDes.
• Ability to contribute to process improvements and the development of new methodologies for signal integrity analysis.
