As a Prinicipal Signal Integrity Engineer within the Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group, you will ensure industry-leading reliability, performance, and efficiency for next-generation products. You will model and simulate end-to-end high-speed channels, including transceivers, IC packages, PCBs, and connectors. Your daily work involves performing time and frequency domain signal integrity analysis to identify loss, reflection, and crosstalk while optimizing Eye Diagrams, Bit Error Rate, and Signal-Noise-Ratio. You will provide design guidelines for board materials, stack-ups, and transmission line routings. Utilizing tools such as Keysight ADS, Cadence Sigrity, Ansys HFSS, MATLAB, and Python, you will solve complex interconnect problems for SerDes channels, LPDDR4/5x/6, DDR5, PCIe Gen 5/6, and 400/800/1600Gbps Ethernet links. You will also support lab validation using TDR, VNA, and high-speed oscilloscopes.
