Senior Director, Data Center Operations

What you'll do

• Manage all engineering services and critical environment operations to ensure maximum uptime and site efficiency.
• Oversee the day-to-day performance of the team to meet contract requirements and service level agreements.
• Manage the annual financial plan, including budget oversight for capital projects and unforeseen expenditures.
• Lead the execution of infrastructure projects from planning and commissioning through to final closeout.
• Act as the primary liaison for client relationships and coordinate communication during critical emergencies or system failures.
• Monitor performance metrics and analytics to identify cost savings and value-add opportunities.
• Manage third-party suppliers and internal resources to deliver maintenance and repair services effectively.
• Develop succession planning and training programs to ensure team readiness and consistent process adherence.

What we're looking for

• Must have 10+ years of operational experience leading teams in critical data center environments.
• Proven track record operating in high-criticality, complex enterprise data center portfolio environments.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems for commercial facilities.
• Fundamental skills in critical systems including generators, ATS, UPS systems, and power distribution.
• Proficiency in Building Management Systems, Life Safety Systems, CMMS, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to manage people and customers.
