What you'll do

Oversee data center construction by colocation providers to ensure projects meet timeline, budget, and quality standards.
Manage the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems while ensuring adherence to design specifications.
Direct the creation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation including design reviews and commissioning papers.
Oversee startup and commissioning phases for major data center projects to ensure all systems are fully operational.
Identify and mitigate project risks while communicating potential impacts to executive leadership.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers.
Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance and performance.
Lead high-level oversight of quality control processes and strategic site walks throughout the project lifecycle.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Candidates must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in the field.
Experience overseeing data center construction by colocation providers is required.
Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation is required.
Experience managing contract negotiations and relationships with external vendors and contractors is required.
Ability to oversee power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems installation is required.
Experience leading large-scale construction projects through startup and commissioning phases is required.
