Senior Data Center Support Services Technician

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and system errors within the data center environment.
• Monitor system error logs and ticket queues to provide proactive maintenance and corrective actions.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CA) for design-related problems.
• Provide audits for power and mechanical capacity or infrastructure upgrades.
• Maintain all technical documentation regarding corporate data centers and operating procedures.
• Test and validate the installation and performance of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Identify and resolve resiliency, reliability, and availability risks globally as a subject matter expert.
• Oversee the issue intake and resolution process for collocation, leased, and owned data center builds.

What we're looking for

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-8 years of experience in Data Center infrastructure Operations support and server administration in a mid-sized environment.
• 3-8 years of experience in incident management responding to electrical and mechanical failures.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following: Power Capacity allocation, incident management, systems administration, or networking.
• Solid understanding of data center design, commissioning, and operations best practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting large, Enterprise customers in an Operations environment.
