What you'll do

Lead troubleshooting, incident investigations, and root cause analysis for high-impact issues affecting critical facility systems.
Improve standards, procedures, and operational practices across electrical, mechanical, cooling, and control infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance for upgrades, retrofits, expansions, and commissioning support activities.
Partner with site teams to improve maintainability, safety execution, and the quality of technical documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure consistent and reliable operational outcomes.
Review technical documentation to ensure high quality and consistent execution across multiple sites.
Mentor less experienced technicians to strengthen team troubleshooting skills and execution discipline.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in mission-critical facility systems or high-availability operations.
Must possess advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities for critical infrastructure.
Must demonstrate the ability to lead complex technical work and make decisions in high-risk situations.
Must be able to communicate technical risks and options clearly to various audiences.
Advanced trade qualification, technical certification, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
5-8+ years of experience working directly within a data center environment (preferred).
Journeyman/Master Electrician license, advanced HVAC credential, NFPA 70E training, or EPA Section 608 Certification (preferred).
OEM manufacturer certifications or NICET certification in power systems, controls, or technical testing (preferred).
