Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed system components for high scalability, resiliency, and large-scale data processing.
• Build fault-tolerant systems using redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and retry mechanisms.
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline troubleshooting and infrastructure management.
• Create monitoring tools including custom dashboards, telemetry systems, and automated alerting for component health.
• Conduct performance testing, load testing, and fault-injection scenarios to ensure system correctness.
• Participate in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and author operational runbooks.
• Implement advanced security controls such as encryption and access management in multi-tenant environments.
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with industry standards and maintain accurate technical documentation.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience designing and optimizing components in distributed systems for scalability, resiliency, and operability is required.
• Ability to implement fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, retries, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
• Proficiency in developing automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience implementing advanced security controls such as encryption and access management in multi-tenant environments.
• Ability to perform load testing, telemetry configuration, and incident response including root cause analysis.
• Capability to manage cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with industry standards and documentation requirements.
